Candied Cranberries!

Candied Cranberries!

This is so easy and so delicious. You will be eating these ALL season long!

All you do is soak 2 cups of fresh cranberries in orange juice* then drain. Don't pat them dry you want the OJ to stick to them.

Next add 1 cup of powdered sugar to the 2 cups of the wet cranberries and gently stir (you are just trying to coat them not mash or break them!) You can do this in a ziplock if you like.

Put some parchment on a cookie sheet then put the berries on it. Bake at 200 degrees for 4-5 minutes. You are just crisping the coating NOT cooking the actual berries.

Let cool then enjoy! Store in the fridge in an airtight container.

Here is the video if you want to watch the process: Candied Cranberries

*Different blogs recommend letting them soak for a couple hours which I did at first, but I realized that cranberries are not very absorbent. I got the same result from just rinsing the cranberries in OJ- just enough to get them wet so the powdered sugar will stick.
